- Advanced Search Configurator: Customize multiple queries with unique filters and keywords for different databases, and preview results before running your search.
- Google Scholar Integration: Google Scholar joins the data sources lineup, allowing you to combine it with PubMed and Cochrane for broader literature searches. This feature can be enabled at request.
- Streamlined Systematic Reviews: Introducing an improved two-step workflow for literature reviews: Screening and full-text evaluation
- Expanded Vigilance Monitoring: Now monitor governmental incident databases from France (ANSM) and Spain (AEMPS) in English, thanks to built-in translations. This feature can be enabled at request.
- Clinical Trials on Flinn: Access clinical trial data from the WHO ICTRP database, including ongoing and concluded trials across global registries. This feature can be enabled at request.
- Improved PDF Viewer: Let Flinn highlight your search terms within full-text PDFs and search through documents faster than ever.

→ We reworked the screening & evaluation workflow in Flinn to better fit it to your process and improved compliance & traceability
→ Screening & Full-text evaluations are now two separate steps:
- Screening: Mark records as relevant, needs review or excluded based on title and abstract
- Full-text evaluation: Mark records as included or excluded
→ Find all your papers marked as relevant in the “full text evaluation” tab (Previously “included” tab)

🩺 Clinical Trials
→ Access clinical trial data on Flinn! We integrated a first version of the WHO ICTRP clinical trial database, which you can select in the search configurations of your literature searches.
→ Find data about ongoing as well as concluded clinical trials
→ Why WHO ICTRP? This database aggregates all national clinical trial databases worldwide, including clinicaltrials.gov. For more information, visit WHO ICTRP
→ For now, clinical trial records will be sorted by published date. We will work on changing this to last updated date in the future.

📩 Improved RIS Export
→ Abstract, Evaluation status & link to the paper will now be part of your exported RIS file
→ You can find this option within the export tab inside your search
