Major features released for Literature Module 2.2.0

    1. ✨ AI Screening co-pilot

      1. You can now boost your efficiency with our AI Screening Co-Pilot, designed to reduce screening time by 40% for all literature searches. This feature allows you to train your own AI model with your inputs. After analyzing a dozen included and excluded papers, the model will start to advise evaluations for new papers. Acting as a co-pilot, it continually improves with each evaluation, highlighting decisive keywords based on previously included or excluded papers. To ensure high quality, we've set confidence thresholds that the model must meet before offering advice. Ready to train your own AI model? Visit Flinn now and give it a try!

    2. ✨ AI papers recommendation

      1. Worried about missing highly relevant clinical papers not included in your search results? Our AI research team has developed a powerful solution for you: Our AI model continuously analyzes your included papers and their citations, extracting a selective list of highly relevant papers not originally found in your search. Simply include the most important ones from this recommendation list, ignore the rest, and complete your search with confidence.

    3. Export your searches to a RIS file

      1. We want to ensure that Flinn seamlessly integrates into your workflow, not just as another standalone software. That's why we've introduced a new export format for all your literature searches: the RIS file. With this initial feature, you can use the RIS export to connect Flinn with any citation management tool, including EndNote, Citavi, Mendeley, and Zotero. This integration allows for easy upload of work from Flinn, ensuring comprehensive and compliant documentation.

    4. Deduplication system

      1. Deduplicating your search results, a crucial first step in any literature search, is now fully supported within Flinn. This unique feature will stand out with its sophisticated deduplication logic accessible through a user-friendly and reliable interface. There’s no need to manually trigger the process; if any duplicates are found within your search, Flinn will alert you with a red deduplication icon. With just one click, you can exclude all duplicated papers, automatically applying the correct exclusion reason 'duplicate' and automatically generating a documentation comment. We've designed our deduplication logic to ensure you never overwrite an already evaluated report nor exclude too many papers. Move away from unfriendly and complicated systems and try our smart and efficient deduplication feature now! Learn more.

    5. Ongoing report for literature searches

      1. We're excited to introduce a highly requested feature: the expansion of our continuous email reporting system to include all ongoing literature searches. To ensure comprehensive documentation for audits, you can now upload any PDFs directly into Flinn. Simply enter key data points such as title, date, authors, etc., and apply your streamlined workflow, including data analysis, appraisal, and standardized export. All your manually uploaded documents and their associated data will be automatically included in your RIS and Excel exports, keeping everything centralized and organized for easy access.
