Why do I have very similar results from MAUDE for my search?

Manufacturers often declare events in groups for a given device on MAUDE. These events are often described with several very similar problems, where the device model number changes, but all other information remains the same. Due to their high similarity, they may appear to be duplicated, but they are still registered as different reports on MAUDE.
