UI elements incorrectly shown
Overview
An element of the user interface may be shown incorrectly — visible when or where it should not be, or not visible when or where it should be. This can halt or delay a user's workflow, causing inefficiencies, user frustration and an increased chance of error.
Hazardous situation: A user's workflow is halted or delayed by an incorrectly displayed interface element.
How we mitigate UI display errors- User-first design. A skilled UX team works to a user-first approach, and a shared UI component library keeps interface elements behaving consistently.
- Automated testing and feedback. Automated front-end and unit tests are run continuously by the tech team, complemented by feedback from internal (Customer Success) and external users. If you spot a display error, Report a problem or a bug.
Accurate, real-time display supports regulatory decision-making and outweighs the minimal residual risk of an isolated UI display error.
