1. New Incident Databases Unlock a world of opportunities with Flinn Software Version 1.3.0! Gain full access to all incident reports in PMDA Japan, ANVISA Alerts, and ANVISA Recall databases. This, coupled with our cutting-edge translation feature, empowers our customers to surveil the Japanese and Brazilian markets like never before.

2. In-app Translation Service

   With this first translation feature, you can now confidently search and access all incident reports in English for the PMDA Japan, ANVISA Alerts, and ANVISA Recall databases. This opens up many possibilities for your foreign market surveillance. Powered by DeepL, a certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 translation service, you can trust that your translations are of the highest quality without compromising the security of your data.

   Start now with 1.3.0 and effortlessly explore Japanese and Portuguese reports in English. More translated databases are in research currently and will come with further releases.

3. Permission Management & Profile

   With our Permission Management, you now have the ability to view all members within your organization and control access by granting or limiting permissions. We've introduced two distinct roles:

   • Admin Role: Administrators within your organization enjoy unrestricted access to the entire web application, devoid of any settings limitations.
   • Editor Role: Editors are empowered to execute various actions in the surveillance flow, including creating searches, executing them, evaluating reports, and creating exports. However, editors do not possess control over settings, such as appraisal criteria and device name configurations, nor can they assign or modify roles for other organization members.

   This feature offers full Flinn access control, ensuring secure authorization and permission management. Learn more.

   Additionally, our inaugural User Profile version seamlessly allows users who wish to configure their personal information and password. While it's important to note that this profile information is securely stored and entirely optional, configuring it will add value to the collaboration feature and pave the way for future versions to offer personalized user experiences. We recommend you to use the password reset function to define your personal and secure password preference.

   

4. Export Improvements - full raw data export function available! Experience enhanced export capabilities in Flinn Software Version 1.3.0, enabling full search data exports. With this update, you can now enjoy the convenience of a full raw data export, which includes the full Excel documentation and, as added folders, snapshots of all report PDFs and text content from your search. This innovative feature allows you to store your raw data effortlessly, ensuring compliance with internal policies.

5. New Searches List made for scalability

   In our latest update, we've meticulously redesigned our Searches List to empower users with scalable and impeccably organized search management. This new design simplifies the handling of multiple searches, making them effortlessly discoverable and readily accessible.

   But that's not all; we're introducing an innovative feature that allows users to establish smart relationships between devices and device group labels. This functionality enables users to seamlessly group device names into logical device clusters and apply precise labels to their searches.

   This enhancement is complemented by a brand-new filtering capability for the search list, enabling users to effortlessly refine their search results by specifying device types and device groups.

   With these updates, our enhanced Searches List takes your search management to the next level, delivering unmatched scalability and efficiency to elevate your workflow.

6. Flinn assistant - similarity detection BETA Keep in mind that our Flinn Assistant's Similarity Detection feature, which empowers users to identify similar reports between BfArM and SwissMedic databases, remains in its BETA phase. We continue to conduct extensive research and data collection to develop a comprehensive validation protocol for this powerful feature.
