Poor usability
Overview
Flinn's interface is used to enter and manage regulatory data. If the interface is hard to use, users can make data-entry or navigation mistakes, which may result in incorrect or incomplete regulatory documentation and an inefficient experience.
Hazardous situation: Incorrect or incomplete data is entered because of poor usability.
How we mitigate poor usability- Simple by design. The interface is designed to minimise the likelihood of errors during data entry and navigation.
- Continuous testing. Display systems that are touched or developed undergo frequent QA, regression testing where needed, and automated front-end testing to detect possible failures. See Release Documentation.
- Guidance and training. Every customer receives onboarding training and a dedicated Customer Success Manager, with additional guidance in the General Guidance section.
A user-friendly design improves usability and efficiency, which outweighs the minor residual risk of user error.
